TOKYO — Celebrity Kyoko Kano, 46, says she said no to a marriage proposal from British guy last year because “the British pound was cheaper against yen.” Translation: the guy wasn’t rich enough.
Speaking at a promotional event for American cosmetic brand “Love & Hate,” in which she collaborated, Kano recommended the products for a Valentine’s Day present.Getting back to her recent love life, Kano said the British man proposed at the end of last year. “I didn’t give him a definite no.
