The former wife of actor Charlie Sheen, Richards ground her way through Take Me Out To The Ball Game during a baseball match at the weekend said reports on Wednesday.
Richards, 38, said she only sang the song because she was asked to do it and the event was an opportunity to raise awareness about kidney cancer reported news.com.au.
'I'm clearly not a singer,' she said.
'I wasn't doing it to show off my pipes. Thank God I wasn't singing the national anthem. But I thought it would be fun.'
A mother of two, the former model had her big break in the film Starship Troopers in 1997 and played Christmas Jones in the 1999 James Bond film The World Is Not Enough, for which Entertainment Weekly voted her the worst Bond girl of all time.
Richards will reportedly return to the big screen in Backstabbers, alongside Neve Campbell.
