A two-person loveseat at the foot of the stage is selling for $1,500, while another VIP package is going for AU$500. --PHOTO: APMELBOURNE - SOME tickets for pop star Britney Spear's concert in Melbourne are going for a whopping AU$1,500 (S$1,843), reported the Australian media on Tuesday.
According to the Herald Sun newspaper, a two-person loveseat at the foot of the stage is selling for $1,500, while another VIP package is going for AU$500.
Along with the ticket to the concert, buyers of this package will get merchandise and a meet-and-greet with the band and dancers - but not Spears.
The average price for a normal seat for the concert is AU$200 reported the Herald Sun.
The loveseats are the ultimate choice for a dedicated Spears fan said producer Steve Dixon, the 100 double seats are set up around the stage and replace security barriers.
Three shows in Melbourne at the Rod Laver Arena have already sold out and a fourth concert date went on sale on Monday.
